Reviews and Ratings
I found Hotel Metropole to have an perfect location in the heart of Lisbon, making it easy to explore the vibrant Rossio Square. However, the hotel was clearly showing its age, with some areas in need of renovation and a shaky lift that added a touch of anxiety. The staff were friendly and helpful, which certainly helped balance out some of the drawbacks of my stay.
I had a good stay at Hotel Metropole, thanks to its impressive location and the charming vintage decor that made me feel like I was in a different era. While the rooms could use some refurbishment, they were clean and comfortable, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast options were decent, though could be more varied, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, displaying genuine hospitality throughout my visit.
My stay at Hotel Metropole was quite mixed. The unbeatable location really set the tone for exploring Lisbon, and I thoroughly enjoyed the vintage charm of the building. However, I found the furnishings and decor a bit tired and in need of a facelift. The breakfast was decent but left something to be desired. Overall, there were some great aspects, but a little updating would go a long way.
My stay at Hotel Metropole was quite enjoyable, especially due to its perfect location right in the heart of Lisbon. However, the hotel does show signs of aging and is in need of some renovations, particularly in common areas and hallways. The service from the staff was friendly and helpful, which enhanced the experience, but there were definitely some drawbacks like noise from the street and a few maintenance issues.
I had a comfortable stay at Hotel Metropole, enjoying the clean and spacious rooms along with lovely views of Rossio Square. However, there were some minor noises from the plaza at night and the hallway could use some upkeep. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore Lisbon's attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.
